It has been an amazing adventure over the last 12 years. I think of the first day I stumbled onto this unique and colorful art form. I was living on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii, and on a sunny warm summer day I went hiking down to the lava rock formations on the East side of the Island. I had my Panasonic S-VHS camcorder with me and I was shooting the beautiful blue ocean water crash onto the lava rocks. The white foam left mother of pearl patterns on the rocks as the sun beams danced with rhythm on the receding water. My camera had a black and white viewer for me to see what I was taping. I didn't know how colorful and alive the images really were till I played back the video on my color television after arriving home.

My first thought was how I would really like to have a framed picture of the beautiful images I was seeing on my television. The technology back in 1990 was just beginning to explore the potential of digital imaging. I went to a Cannon Store and told them about the images I had on a video tape. Mark, the Cannon representative helped me find a way to output the pictures through their newly introduced Cannon Color Copier. And this was the birth of my first Art Creation, a whole new world seen through a digital eye. I was amazed at how bright and vivid the colors were. The rest is history, I've created these images ever since.

After 12 years of experimenting with imaging software and paint programs I believe I have created a wide enough variety of art, that I have a picture for every type of person. My pictures have become prized possessions of many people. As you will discover, each picture has unique images, pictures within pictures, there are abstract shapes which also form faces of people, animals or familiar objects, they seem to jump out at you. I have viewed pictures with several people at the same time, each person pointing out something different, they really become a great conversational piece.
